Dollar Tree Finds

This week's edition of We Shop Wednesday led us to our local Dollar Tree with and an empty cart and no plan. Where did we end up? Head to our instagram stories to see the full story, but we created two different gift baskets. One was for the little ones and it was full of kid-approved toys and snacks. The grand total was $10 before tax for the entire basket, though it looked more like a $30-40 gift. 

The second basket we created was for the new homeowner, the new neighbor, or the friend that is moving. We stuck to the absolute essentials that were aplenty in Dollar Tree (think toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, etc.). We also added in some unhealthy snacks for the long days of unpacking. It would be such a fun thing to leave on someone's doorstep. The best part is it comes in at $17 total before tax!  

Long story short, don't let a budget stop you from making someone's day! There are ways to make a big statement without a big price tag. Think outside the box and keep it simple!
